Background

Al Faris International Schools in Riyadh is a large, modern educational institution designed to provide world-class learning facilities. The school includes 160 classrooms, extensive corridors, and multiple sports areas including a football field, two basketball courts, and a swimming pool.

The management required an advanced IP Public Address System to deliver clear announcements, emergency notifications, and background music across all indoor and outdoor zones. They emphasized network-based installation, easy scalability, and compatibility with other systems such as CCTV, fire alarms, and access control.

Our engineering team designed a fully networked IP audio system using high-quality SPON devices to meet the school's communication and safety needs.

Centralized IP Control:

A powerful IP controller was deployed in the main control room to manage all audio endpoints across the campus. The system enables real-time monitoring, remote control, and flexible zone management.
Clear and Even Sound Distribution:

Each classroom was equipped with one IP ceiling speaker to ensure clear voice coverage and easy installation through the existing LAN network. In the corridors and sports facilities, ceiling speakers were installed based on distance calculations to maintain balanced sound pressure levels.
Outdoor Audio Coverage:

For outdoor areas, 30 IP horn speakers were installed to provide strong, weather-resistant sound performance. These ensure messages and alerts are clearly heard across large open areas like the football field and playground.
Intelligent Paging System:

The system includes 4 IP paging microphones — one for the control room and three for the sports field. They allow school administrators to make live announcements to any selected zones instantly, improving campus communication efficiency.
Seamless Integration:

The IP PA system was designed to integrate smoothly with the school’s CCTV, fire alarm, and access control systems. In emergencies, automatic announcements can be triggered, ensuring rapid response and enhanced safety.

Project Achievements

Completed in August 2025, the Al Faris International School IP public address system provides a reliable, flexible, and intelligent communications network that supports daily announcements, background music, and emergency alerts.

The project demonstrates how SPON's IP-based audio solutions can elevate modern educational environments to international standards, improving communication efficiency, safety, and comfort across large campuses.
