1、Project Background

Humen Station is the first high-speed railway station to open in Dongguan. In response to the practical needs of Dongguan City and the railway, the new station building at Humen High-Speed Railway Station is an upgraded renovation of the existing Humen Station. It has become the only transportation hub in Dongguan that integrates high-speed rail, intercity rail, and metro services. One of its key upgrade objectives is to achieve seamless transfers, truly unleashing the advantages of the 'three-track integration' hub. This is aimed at promoting the high-quality development of Dongguan City and advancing the construction of the Greater Bay Area in Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macau.

 

2、Project Product Introduction

Currently, the new station building of Humen High-Speed Railway Station in Dongguan City has opened and is welcoming passengers. To enhance the communication capabilities of the new station building, SPON Communications has designed and deployed a highly integrated, stable, and reliable IP Array Public Addressing system. This PA system covers two north and south waiting halls, the ticketing hall, as well as corridor pathways, ensuring that SPON's broadcast accompanies every passenger entering the station.

 

The SPON IP Matrix Public Address System is specifically designed for large public service locations such as high-speed railways, subways, airports, and more. It integrates public address and emergency broadcasting, incorporating multiple intelligent monitoring and control modules to ensure a secure and reliable backup mechanism. It also offers flexibility for expansion, providing ample interfaces for business broadcasting and fire emergency broadcasting, enabling automatic business broadcasting and fire-linked broadcasting.

The system employs high signal-to-noise ratio and high fidelity digital amplifiers, delivering outstanding sound reproduction capabilities, ensuring that every broadcast announcement is clear and pleasant to the ear.

The advantage of the SPON IP PA System is evident in its real-time monitoring of the operational status of various system modules. When it detects faults such as low voltage/overload of the main/backup power supply, amplifier unit failure, short-circuit/open-circuit in the speaker circuit, it proactively outputs fault signals. This allows the staff to quickly locate and promptly address the issues.

In addition to fault monitoring, critical modules in the system, such as amplifiers, power supplies, and networks, are equipped with backup mechanisms. The amplifier module uses a '4 main 1 backup' mode, and after the system detects a fault condition, it automatically activates the backup without delay. This reduces the broadcast failure rate to nearly zero, ensuring the stable and uninterrupted operation of broadcasting within the high-speed railway station for an extended period, meeting the requirements of the high-speed railway station.
